Luís César Fernandes

Graduated in Medicine at Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (1988), Residency in General Surgery (1991), Master in Surgical Gastroenterology (1997) and Doctorate in Medicine (2002) at Federal University of São Paulo - Paulista School of Medicine (UNIFESP-EPM). Currently Physician Assistant in the Discipline of Surgical Gastroenterology, Department of Surgery, Federal University of São Paulo - Paulista School of Medicine. Experience in Medicine with emphasis on Digestive Surgery, acting on the following topics: intestinal anastomosis, colorectal cancer and tumor markers in colorectal adenocarcinoma. Developing Research Line entitled: New Instruments for Mechanical Surgical Sutures in Tissues, Structures and Organs for Digestive Tract Surgery. Member of the Brazilian College of Surgeons (TCBC) and Specialist and Member of the Brazilian College of Digestive Surgery (TCBCD). Doctor in the Brazilian Army, nowadays as Coronel.
