Currently she is A graduate students advisor at PEA - Graduate Program in Ecology of Continental Aquatic Environments of the Universidade Estadual de Maringa (Categorized at the excellence level 6 by Capes) and Senior Scientist of the Stock Assessment Program of the IATTC (Inter -American Tropical Tuna Commission). She had taught several courses related to the use of quantitative methods in ecology and fisheries. She has served on national and international advisory panels. She has experience in Ecology and Fisheries, with main interests on: artisanal fisheries, fisheries stock assessment, fisheries management and applied Bayesian methods.
