Lorenzo Gustavo Macagno

He is a full professor in the Department of Anthropology at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) and an associate researcher at the Center for African and Development Studies (CEsA-ISEG), University of Lisbon. He earned a post-doctorate at the Anthropology Department of Columbia University (New York). He was a visiting researcher at Les Afriques dans le Monde (LAM-CNRS)/SciencePo Bordeaux and at the Center for African Studies at Eduardo Mondlane University (Mozambique) He was also regional director (South region) of the Brazilian Anthropology Association (2017-2018). His areas of interest include: History of anthropology, Anthropology of colonialism in contexts of Portuguese colonization and Anthropology of politics. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
