Associate Professor II at the Institute of Economics at the State University of Campinas. He has two bachelor's degrees: a first, in Economic Sciences from the State University of Campinas (1991) and a second, in Social Sciences from the State University of Campinas (1993). He has a Master's degree in Economics from the University of São Paulo (1995), a PhD in Economic Science from the State University of Campinas (2001), with a Doctoral Internship at the Université Louis Pasteur in Strasbourg, France (1997 - 1998). Complementary training in Economics of Technological and Institutional Change ETIC, within the European Training Programme, in 1997, at École Doctorale Augustin Cournot with funding from the European Commission.He is currently General Coordinator of Postgraduate Studies at the Institute of Economics at Unicamp, Researcher at the Center for Industrial Economics and Technology (NEIT), at the Center for the Study of International Economic Relations (CERI), Collaborator at the Center for Trade Union and Labor Studies ( CESIT) and the SocioEcoEconomy Research Group (FEA/UInicamp) and Coordinator of a Universal Research Notice by CNPq. He was Director of the Unicamp Institute of Economics (2015-2019), General Coordinator of Postgraduate Studies (2011-2015) and Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Economic Science (2008-2011). Between 2006 and 2008, he served as Undergraduate Coordinator of the Economics Course at the Colleges of Campinas (FACAMP). At the Institute of Economics he teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Economic Theory. He has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Economics, with an emphasis on Industrial Economics, Labor Economics, Political Economy and Public Policies, working mainly on the following topics: Contemporary Political Economy, Reduction of Working Time, Economics of Innovation, Evolutionary Approach and Transitions to Sustainability . In 2008, he participated in the Entrepreneurship Research Conference at Babson College (MA - USA) and in 2006, in CAPORDE (Cambridge Advanced Program on Rethinking the Development Economics) at the University of Cambridge, UK.
