Marcelo Goncalves

Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Universidade Mackenzie (1982), Master's degree in Metallurgical Engineering from USP -Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo (1985) and Ph.D. in Metallurgy from the University of Sheffield (1989). Has vast experience in R&D in the fields of Materials and Metallurgical Engineering, with emphasis on the following areas:carbon, alloyed and stainless steels, rolling and extrusion of aluminium alloys, controlled rolling of HSLA steels, mechanical working of metals, thermomechanical processing, microstructural analysis, product development and metallurgical processing optimazation. Teaching experience in the fields of Metallurgy, Mateials Science & Engineering and Production Engineering, both at undergraduate and post-graduate levels. Since 2010 has been working more intensively as technical consultant on several projects for metallurgical companies mostly from the private sector. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
