He holds a degree in Chemistry from the State University of Londrina (1992), a master's degree in Chemistry (Inorganic Chemistry) from the University of São Paulo (1996), and a PhD in Chemistry (Inorganic Chemistry) from the University of São Paulo (2000). He is currently an Associate Professor at the State University of Centro-Oeste. He has experience in Chemistry, with an emphasis on Inorganic Physical Chemistry, working mainly on the following topics: Clay Minerals, Colloidal Nickel, Cobalt, Mixed Materials, Synthetic Inorganic Pigments, Characterization, and Colorimetry. He served as a member of the Advisory Committee for the Araucária Foundation, CAA-Química, from 2005 to 2008 (two terms). He served as Director of Graduate Studies at UNICENTRO in 2007. He coordinated the Graduate Program in Chemistry at UNICENTRO (Master's and Doctorate) from its implementation in 2006 to 2010. He served as Head of Department, 2011-2012. He acted as coordinator of the infrastructure subproject for the acquisition of multi-user equipment to consolidate and strengthen UNICENTRO's Graduate Programs. He was awarded three ABRAFATI Science in Paints Awards: 1st Place in 2014 ("Non-toxic colored aluminates based on polysaccharide"), 3rd Place in 2016 ("Non-toxic colored aluminates based on polysaccharide") and 2nd Place in 2018 ("Clay minerals saturated with Fe3+ ions applied in dye removal and their reuse as colorless paint pigments"). From 2018 to 2025, he collaborated with Professor Carla Bittencourt of the University of Mons, Belgium. He supervised a doctoral program in co-tutule and developed a project approved by Confap/WBI. We published 20 articles in international journals. He supervised 26 final papers, 23 master's dissertations, and 16 doctoral theses. He has been granted five patents. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
