Carlos Alberto dos Santos Passos

Is Electrical Engineer at the UMC (1981), got the MS in Electrical Engineering in 1986 and the Ph.D. in 1993, both from the UNICAMP. Has specialization in Production Planning at the LAAS in Toulouse, France (1989/1990). Is Researcher (Senior Technologist III) and Head of Robotics and Computer Vision. In CTI of the Center for Information Technology Renato Archer (CTI). In CTI, was Coordinator of the Technological Park - CTI-Tec from 2010 to 2014 and RD General Coordinators of the CTI from 1999 to 2010. Has experience in Production Engineering and Computing, with emphasis on Production, Planning and Control. Is Ad-hoc Consultant from FAPESP, CNPq, FINEP, Softex, World Bank and others. Was the General Coordinater of the program PIBIC / CNPq, from 1999 to 2008. Is member of the Scientific and Technical Council of the CTI, since 2001. Was Invited Professor in the graduate courses at UNICAMP, INPG and IASP. Is Senior Examiner of the Project for Excellence in Technological Research ABIPTI and examiner of The PQGF / MPOG. Among others, acts as reviewer for scientific journals and is the facilitator of Benchmarking Industrial Best Practices Program for Industrial Excellence - PMPE, developed and coordinated by IEL / SC. He also served in PADCT, as a member of Committees for the Evaluation of proposals and also of the Technological Development Program, as a whole.
