Graduated in Mathematics from the State University of Southwest of Bahia - UESB, MSc and PhD in Agronomic Engineering / Energy in Agriculture with emphasis on Computational Stochastic Simulation Applied to Agricultural Climatology by the São Paulo State University - UNESP. He was an referee of the Committee of Mathematics, Statistics and Informatics of the Araucaria Foundation for Support to Scientific and Technological Development of Parana in two terms from November / 2003 to October / 2005 and November / 2005 to October / 2008. He is currently a referee for several scientific journals. He served as Editor-in-Chief of the Brazilian Journal of Agrocomputation from 2001 to 2008. He published 71 articles in national and international journals and 212 papers in scientific events (national and international). He coordinated research projects with funding from development agencies such as CNPq, CAPES, Araucaria Foundation for Support to Scientific and Technological Development of Parana and FINEP. He is an institutional and course evaluator of INEP/MEC. Coordinates the research group CompEstat - Statistical Computation Applied to Agroenvironmental Sciences registered in the CNPq group directory. He is an associate professor in the Mathematics and Statistics Department of UEPG where coordinates the Laboratory of Computational and Applied Statistics. He is a professor and adviser in the postgraduate program in Sanitary and Environmental Engineering of UEPG/UNICENTRO. From June 2014 to June 2016 he was a fellowship Productivity in Research and Technological Development of the Araucaria Foundation for Support to Scientific and Technological Development of Parana. He has experience in the area of the Modeling and Simulation of Agroecosystems, Applied Climatology (Hydrological Statistic and Hydroclimatology) and Alternative Energy Sources working mainly on the following topics: Stochastic simulation of climatic data, Regional environmental impacts caused by global climate change, Monitoring and management of water resources and Determination of the regional wind potential.
