Bachelor in Computer Science from the University of São Paulo (1991), M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (Automation) from the State University of Campinas (1994 and 1998), with a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of São Paulo São Carlos. Completed a doctoral sandwich program at Purdue University, USA (19951996). Worked as a Research Scientist at Telcordia Technologies, Inc. (19992001), was a faculty researcher at Univem (until 2003) and at Unimep (until 2012). Served as a faculty member at ESEG Escola Superior de Engenharia e Gestão (20082012) and at Universidade Anhembi Morumbi (2013). Co-founder of D2S, a company focused on digital media for the Internet and Distance Education. Currently a professor and researcher at the School of Technology of the State University of Campinas. Experienced in Computer Science, with emphasis on Software Engineering, working mainly on the following topics: software testing, software development processes, software quality, software security, and mobile application development. Also serves as a specialist in SC7 Software and Systems Subcommittee of the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT), contributing to the review and translation of the ISO/IEC/IEEE 29119 Software Testing standard.
