Roger Souza de Paula

Roger Souza de Paula holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidade Estadual Paulista (Unesp) in 2003, a M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp) in 2006 and 2025, respectively. He specializes in Public Ombudsman and has an MBA in Strategic Corporate Management and Strategic Management and Innovation. He holds professional certifications in ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Information Security Associate Certification, Business Model Canvas Essentials Professional Certification, Scrum Foundation Professional Certification, Lean Six Sigma White Belt Professional Certification, Business Intelligence Foundation Professional Certification and Project Management. Since 2021, he has been a Federal External Control Auditor at the Federal Court of Auditors (TCU). He previously held the positions of Judicial Analyst at the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), from 2007 to 2008, and Federal Auditor of Finance and Control at the Office of the Comptroller General (CGU), from 2008 to 2021. His main areas of interest are government auditing, data science, regulation, public policies, business models, digital technologies, telecommunications, and digital inclusion.
