Pharmaceutical Biochemist graduated from the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto University of São Paulo (USP) in 1998. Holds a Masters degree in Food Science from the University of Campinas (UNICAMP, 2001) and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the School of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters of Ribeirão Preto USP (2007). Worked as a DCR fellow (FAPEG/CNPq) conducting research on medicinal plants from the Brazilian Cerrado (20092010). Has experience in natural products, secondary metabolite chemistry, food analysis, and physicochemical characterization of plant biomass. Currently, she is a researcher at Embrapa Agroenergy, focusing on the valorization of agro-industrial residues and the development of bioproducts within the context of the bioeconomy.
