Professor Sandro Marcio Lima is graduated in Physics by the State University of Maringá (UEM), with master, Ph.D. and pos-doctorate in Applied Physics by the Institute of Physics of São Carlos (IFSC), University of São Paulo (USP). Since 2004 he is professor at the State University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UEMS), Dourados, MS, teaching in the physics engineering undergraduation and in the Master and Ph.D courses of Natural Resource. He has experience in Applied Physics, with emphasis on Thermal and Optical Properties of Condensed Matter. He works in multidisciplinary research involving the development of new materials for photonic applications. He currently serves as Coordinator of the post-graduate courses in the Interdisciplinary Area of CAPES (Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior), and he is also Coordinator of the Natural Resources Study Center (CERNA) at UEMS.
