She was licensed in Chemistry, Master in Chemical Engineering and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of Campinas. In Paris/France, she made a postdoctoral degree at Université Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris / France. She has been a leader of the group of polymer materials since 2001, acting on the research lines: polymer biomaterials for application in the medical and dental area; Composites, biocomposites, nanocomposites and bionanocomposites; Modification of biopolymers aiming for different applications and synthesis and characterization of biopolymers by microbial cultivation. Currently, she is the coordinator and permanent teacher of the Postgraduate Program in Process Engineering and Professor of the Environmental and Sanitary Engineering course at the University of the Joinville region (Univille). She published more than 70 articles in specialized journals and 290 works on national and international events annals.
