Architect and urbanist, master in urban planning, bachelor in social science and PhD in urban planning at the Urban and Regional Research and Planning Institute, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (IPPUR UFRJ). Professor at IPPUR UFRJ since 2018. Full researcher and technical advisor of urban planning at ETTERN?s Centre for Contested Planning Experiences, since 2011. Researcher at the Laboratory for Housing and Human Settlements (LabHab FAU USP) form 1997 to 2007. Integrated the World Cup and Olympics Popular Committee of Rio de Janeiro from 2011-2016 and represented Rio de Janeiro in the National Coalition of Local Committees for a People?s World Cup and Olympics from 2012 to 2014. Developed studies in urban planning, social housing and urban environment for the Ministry of Cities, Federal Government of Brazil, Municipal Government of Santo André (Brazil), and Latin American and Caribbean Institute for Economic and Social Planning of the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (Cepal/ONU), among others.
