Associate Professor at University of Brasília. Holds a specialization in Environmental Policies from Universidad San Pablo, Madrid, Spain; Master's degree in Chemistry from the State University of Campinas (1998), Ph.D. in Chemistry from the State University of Campinas (2003) with an internship at the Laboratory of Environmental Analytical Chemistry of CERC, USGS, Columbia-USA, under the supervision of Jim Huckins. She was an visiting professor at the Fire-Time Research Laboratory at San Jose State University, California, from January to March, 2017, under the supervision of Dr. Craig B. Clements. Has experience in the field of Analytical and Environmental Chemistry, with emphasis on Chromatography, Persistent Toxic Substances, Advanced Oxidative Processes, Atmospheric Chemistry and Pesticides. From 2004 to 2009 he was an environmental analyst at IBAMA, working with pesticide registration, Accreditation in Laboratory Good Practices and Environmental Licensing of Thermoelectric and Nuclear Plants. Currently teaches in the courses of Environmental Sciences and Chemistry of UnB, emphasizing the disciplines Atmospheric Chemistry and Chromatographic Methods. As research lines, works with Atmospheric Chemistry, Persistent Organic Compounds and pesticides, guiding undergraduate, master's and doctoral students. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
