Luciana de Paula Santos

Luciana de Paula Santos is an architect, doctoral researcher at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at the University of São Paulo (FAU-USP), founder of YggBrasil (a platform for urban data visualization focused on climate crises and sustainable development), as well as an artist and curator at Aisthesis Lab (www.aisthesislab.art). Her research and work explore the intersection of architecture, art, science, and technology, with a particular focus on the social and aesthetic implications of networked urban spaces and Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs). She holds a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the São Paulo State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP), a postgraduate degree in Technological Aesthetics from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP), and a master's degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of São Paulo (USP). Currently, Luciana is conducting her doctoral research with a scholarship from the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) and serves as an assistant professor in the Teaching Improvement Program (PAE) in the disciplines of: Construction II, Urban Planning II, Contemporary Urban Culture, and Art History I. Her work involves creating projects, artworks, and exhibitions in Brazil and abroad, always with an interdisciplinary approach aimed at reflecting on the paradigm shifts occurring in contemporary cities, especially in the context of hybridization between urban space and digital media.
