Arnaldo César Pereira

Graduated in Chemistry from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1995), Master's degree in Chemistry from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1998), Ph. State University of Campinas (2004-2006) and postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Chemistry at the State University of Campinas (2007-2009). He is currently Associate Professor III at the Federal University of São João del Rei, (Campus Dom Bosco, São João del Rei / MG). Member of RQ-MG (Rede Mineira de Quimica) since 2012 and was a local representative (coordinator) (UFSJ) from 2018 to 2020. He was coordinator of the Exact and Earth Sciences Area of the Institutional Program for Scientific Initiation Scholarships (PIBIC) ) and the Institutional Scientific Initiation Program (PIIC) from 2010 to 2019. He has experience in the area of Chemistry, with emphasis on Electroanalyticals, working mainly on the following topics: electrochemical sensors and biosensors, chemically modified electrodes, carbon materials (graphite powder, carbon nanotubes, graphene), conductive polymers, printed electrodes, among others. At the Postgraduate Teaching level, he is part of the Postgraduate Program in Physics and Chemistry of Materials at UFSJ (Master's and Doctorate) and the Multicentric Postgraduate Program in Chemistry at Rede Mineira de Química (PPGMQ) as a Permanent Professor . He was a member of the FQMat Board (2011-2020) and currently holds this role again since June 2022, acting as a supervisor at stricto sensu postgraduate level as well as at undergraduate level. He was Coordinator of FAPEMIG's CEX Chamber from March 2017 to March 2018. He has recent productivity in his area of expertise with articles published in specialized journals with a selective editorial policy in which he presents articles whose sum of impact factors in the period between 2017-2022 is above 50 and h factor (h index) 21 obtained by ISI and 23 by SCOPUS.
