Waldemiro Alcântara da Silva Neto

Economist, graduated from the State University of Londrina - PR (2004), Master in Economics from the State University of Maringá - PR (2007), Doctor in Applied Economics from the University of São Paulo - USP (2011), Post-Doctorate in Economic Development from Federal University of Paraná - UFPR (2019). Associate Professor level III at the Federal University of Goiás - UFG, he works as a professor of economics at the Faculty of Administration, Accounting and Economic Sciences at the Federal University of Goiás - FACE/UFG. I served as coordinator of the Master's in Economics (Postgraduate Program in Economics - PPGECON) at FACE/UFG from 2019 to 2023. He works in the area of Economics, with emphasis on Applied Economics, mainly in the following themes: Time Series, Economics of Energy and Economy of Agribusiness, Agricultural Marketing and Family Farming. At graduation he teaches Agribusiness Economics, Agricultural Marketing and Introduction to Microeconomics.
