Tânia Mello Neiva is a researcher, performer, musician and educator. She has a doctorate from the postgraduate music program at UFPB with a thesis on Brazilian women in the field of experimental music in the country from a feminist perspective (2018). From October 2019 to February 2021, he developed, at the same institution, Post-Doctoral research on musicians from the city of João Pessoa who work using technology. He has a master's degree (2006) and a bachelor's degree (2003) in music from UNICAMP. Since 2003, she has been developing interdisciplinary work mainly with dance and drama, acting as a performer and composer. She was a Visiting Arts Professor at IFRN/Campus Parelhas between June 2022 and June 2024. She is a founding member of +Um Coletivo de Arte, She has worked as a composer/performer since 2003 with several partnerships and, since 2015, solo. He is interested in sound creation, experimental music and interdisciplinary artistic productions.
