Ricardo Roberto Plaza Teixeira has a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the State University of Campinas (1984), a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of São Paulo (2000), a Master's degree in Nuclear Physics from the University of São Paulo (1988) and a PhD in Nuclear Physics from the University of São Paulo (1996). He is currently a full professor at the Caraguatatuba campus of the Federal Institute of São Paulo (IFSP). In 2017 and 2018 he was coordinator of the Physics Degree course at IFSP-Caraguatatuba. He has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Physics, with an emphasis on Physics Teaching, working mainly on the following topics: scientific education, history of science, physics teaching, interdisciplinarity, science dissemination, mathematical education, use of videos, films and documentaries in education, media literacy, astronomy teaching and gender issues in the exact sciences.
