Graduate in Biological Sciences at the University of São Paulo (1990), with Master's degree in Entomology, at the University of São Paulo (1997) and a PhD with a concentration in Entomology at the University of São Paulo (2003). Developed doctorate at the Museum of Zoology of the University of São Paulo, where had experience in several areas of Zoology. DCR researcher at the Federal University of Sergipe where developed a work on the behavior of ants with reproductive workers. Participated in scientific meetings in Brazil and others countries, where publicized her research. Participates in academic activities in the areas of Zoology, Ecology, Environmental Education and Evolution. Currently, is a professor of the Biological Sciences Course at Universidade Paulista - UNIP, in Ribeirão Preto-SP. Has taught disciplines in Biomedicine, Pharmacy, Nursing and Nutrition courses.
