Bernardo Curvelano Freire

Graduated in Social Sciences at Universidade Federal de São Carlos (2001) and got his master's degree in Antropology at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2008) after develop a research about fiction and theatre expeirence. Has a trajectory in research about modernity reade by the lenses of technical mediation and the new configurations of religion, science and the modern State and its configurations. His doctorate in Social Antropologiy was developed in the Instituto de Filosofia e Ciências Humanas, at UNICAMP, with a doctorate stage at École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris. Since 2016 got his nomination as professos at Universidade Federal do Vale do São Francisco (UNIVASF), when started to contribute as a public servant at the semi-arid caatinga, at São Raimundo Nonato (PI). Is the leader of LaMPDA (Laboratório de Metodologia, Pesquisa e Documentação em Antropologia - UNIVASF) where have been developing colaborative researches about landtenure demands with quilombolas at the Piauí, s caatinga and fundo de pasto communities at the north side of Bahia.
