Cristiane Vianna Rauen holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Campinas (Unicamp), a sandwich-doctorate from Columbia University, a master's degree in Scientific and Technological Policy (Unicamp) and a bachelor's degree in Economics. She has been a federal public servant since 2011, holding positions in different organizations: responsible for the Inmetro Technological Projects Incubator (2011-2013); public servant at the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (2013-current); researcher at the Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology (IBICT, 2015-2017); visiting researcher at the Institute of Applied Economic Research (Ipea, 2015-2018); general coordinator of the Ministry of Education (2019-2020); coordinator at the Brazilian Industrial Research and Innovation Company (EMBRAPII, 2021-2023). Throughout her career, Cristiane has specialized in topics related to science, technology and innovation, carrying out research, teaching, consultancy and support for the formulation of policies associated with the topic.
