Ph.D. candidate in a joint program between the University of São Paulo (USP) and the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven), with a focus on aerospace structures. Holds a Masters degree in Aerospace Structures from the São Carlos School of Engineering at USP (EESC-USP) and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in Aeronautics from the same institution.Worked for three years as a product development engineer in the field of aircraft performance at Empresa Brasileira de Aeronáutica S.A. (EMBRAER), and for an additional two years in the area of aircraft structures. Served as a substitute lecturer in the Aeronautical Engineering program at EESC-USP, teaching the course "Design of Aircraft Structural Elements II" (SEA0205). Also taught in the Aerospace Engineering program at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) and at the Federal Institute of São Paulo São Carlos Campus (IFSP), in the area of aircraft maintenance.Currently, he is a professor of Aeronautical Structures in the Aeronautical Engineering program at EESC-USP. He has solid experience in Aerospace Engineering, with emphasis on structures, composite materials, the finite element method, structural failure and damage modeling, corrosion, degradation, fatigue, and damage-tolerant structures, as well as professional experience in aircraft performance.
