Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences and Bachelor's degree from the Paulista State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2003 and 2004), a Master's degree in Biological Sciences (Genetics area) from the Paulista State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2007) and a PhD in Biological Sciences (Genetics area) from the Paulista State University Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2010). She is currently an associate professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, coordinator of the course of Biological Sciences Degree and a permanent member of the graduate program in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He has experience in Genetics, with emphasis on Molecular and Microorganism Genetics, working mainly on the following topics: systemic mycoses, molecular diagnosis, fungal evolution and autocatalytic mobile genetic elements.
