Alexandre Macedo Fernandes

Holds a PhD in Physical Oceanography from Florida State University (2006). Completed his postdoctoral research at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) (20072008). Currently, he is an Associate Professor at the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), working in the Department of Physical Oceanography and Meteorology at the Faculty of Oceanography.
