Degree in Civil Engineering (1989), Specialization in Petroleum Engineering (1990), Master's Degree in Petroleum Sciences and Engineering (1993) and Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering (2000), all by University of Campinas. She is currently a lecturer in the Department of Energy - Petroleum Engineering Division, School of Mechanical Engineering, University of Campinas, where she works in the undergraduate and postgraduate courses, with emphasis on Reservoir Engineering and Well Test Analysis. She is the leader of the research group LABORE - Laboratory of Oil Reservoirs (http://dgp.cnpq.br/dgp/espelhogrupo/7158571087096927).The research lines of interest are Petrophysical Properties and Fluid Flow, Wellbore-Reservoir Coupling and Oil Recovery Methods, highlighting the advanced recovery methods by chemicals addition (polymers and surfactants) to the injection water.
