Herbert Rodrigues

Assistant Professor at the Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Gerontology, Missouri State University, USA. PhD in Sociology, University of São Paulo (USP). BA in Social Sciences, USP, and MA in Social Anthropology, USP. In 2001, he was a Visiting Researcher Junior at Lisbon University, Portugal. In 2012, he was a Visiting Scholar at the University of Massachusetts/Amherst, USA. He was an Associate Researcher at the Center for Studies of Violence USP (NEV-USP). Dr. Rodrigues work focuses on sexual violence against children, human rights, legitimacy and legal socialization. His recent work appears in the British Journal of Criminology, Journal of Youth and Adolescence, Social Justice Research, International Journal of Child, Youth and Family Studies.
