Specializes in new media, contemporary art and digital culture. Graduated in fine arts at FAAP, with a master's degree in visual poetics from ECA (School of Communications and Arts at USP São Paulo University). With a specialization in Curatorship and Cultural Practices in Art and New Media at MECAD / ESDI in (Barcelona / ES). Since 2000, Paula Perissinotto is Co-organize and Co- founded FILE, Electronic Language International Festival, a non-profit cultural organization that promotes and encourages aesthetic and cultural productions related to new poetics of contemporary culture. At the festival, she is responsible for the selection of works, international relations and also calls for the management of projects carried out in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Curitiba and Porto Alegre. She taught art and technology at FASM, in the fine arts course, and Art, Theory and Criticism, Aesthetics and History of Modern Art in the Design courses at IED-São Paulo. She implemented and coordinated the Digital Design undergraduate course at European Design Institute, in São Paulo, Brazil. In 2020 she joined as a PHD student at the University of São Paulo, School of Communications and Arts | ECA, in Visual Poetics, as well became member of the Realities Research Group licensed by CNPq, led by Professor Dr. Silvia Laurentiz, who in turn is formally linked to the School of Communications and Arts and the Department of Visual Arts at ECA/USP.
