Marcelo Mecchi Morales

PhD in Medicine from the University of São Paulo (USP), in the area of #8203;#8203;Cardiology and Bioengineering. Researcher in the line of cardiovascular surgery and technology applied to the circulatory system, he has experience in the development of ventricular assist devices and artificial heart. Master in Aerospace Engineering from the National Institute of Space Research (INPE), having worked on the development of supersonic combustion engines and detonation systems with detailed chemical kinetics in the Combustion and Propulsion Laboratory (INPE). Post-graduated in Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering from the Technological Institute of Aeronautics (ITA). He worked on the development of hypersonic propellants at the Institute of Advanced Studies of the Aerospace Technical Center (IEAv / CTA), being one of the authors of the first book published worldwide on this technology. Specialist in Strategic Studies, Department of Political Science, University of São Paulo. Graduated through the special multidisciplinary degree program (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computing and Engineering) of the University of São Paulo, called Experimental Course in Molecular Sciences (www.cecm.usp.br). During his scientific initiation, he studied the phenomena of heat transfer and fluid dynamics, collaborating in the development of liquid propulsion engines at the Institute of Aeronautics and Space (IEA / CTA). He also graduated from the Federal Technical School of São Paulo, in the area of #8203;#8203;Electronics / Telecommunications.
