Bachelor degree in Biological Sciences from ESALQ - USP (2013 - Escola Superior de Agricultura Luiz de Queiroz, University of São Paulo) and PhD in Tropical Ecology and Conservation from the University of Sheffield, England (2019). Her full doctorate in England was carried out through the CNPq Science without Borders program. She is currently conducting postdoctoral research with the Ecosystems Lab at the University of Oxford, England, and also at Woodwell Climate Research Center, in the United States. Her research explores changes in fire regimes in the Amazon and Cerrado, focusing on climate variables and human pressures of land use changes. Techniques used in her research include field experiments with drought and controlled fire, statistical modeling, and remote sensing techniques. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
