Biologist from the Federal University of São Carlos (2004), Master's in Botany from the National School of Tropical Botany at the Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden (2007), and PhD in Environmental Science from the University of São Paulo (2015). Postdoctoral fellowship at ESALQ/USP (2022). I have been working in the environmental field since 2005, as a staff member at the State Institute of Environment and Water Resources of Espírito Santo, as a volunteer at the Atlantic Forest Research Institute in the Muriqui-ES Project, and as a consultant on various projects in partnership with TNC, CI-Brazil, IBIO, FUNBIO, and the Bahia State Department of Environment. I have experience in large-scale ecological restoration and agroforestry systems, with rural property environmental planning and adaptation, and the implementation of ecological corridors. I am the leader of the CNPq RECONECTA research group - Ecological Restoration, Conservation, and Connectivity, founding member and current President of the Brazilian Society of Ecological Restoration - SOBRE.
