I have been working in the environmental field since 2005, as a staff member at the State Institute of Environment and Water Resources of Espírito Santo, as a volunteer at the Atlantic Forest Research Institute in the Muriqui-ES Project, and as a consultant on various projects in partnership with TNC, CI-Brazil, IBIO, FUNBIO, and the Bahia State Department of Environment. I have experience in large-scale ecological restoration and agroforestry systems, with rural property environmental planning and adaptation, and the implementation of ecological corridors. I am the leader of the CNPq RECONECTA research group - Ecological Restoration, Conservation, and Connectivity, founding member and current President of the Brazilian Society of Ecological Restoration - SOBRE.
