Rafael Augusto Scaraficci

Rafael holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering (2005) and a Master's degree in Computer Science (2008), both from the University of Campinas (UNICAMP). Since 2008, he has been working at CPQD, where he has served as a researcher, technical leader, and software architect specializing in applied research and technological development projects. His experience spans areas such as embedded software, telecommunications networks, Internet of Things (IoT), software architecture, operations research, and Artificial Intelligence.In recent years, he has specialized in solutions based on Generative Artificial Intelligence, with a focus on practical applications in corporate and industrial settings. His work involves the development of systems that integrate techniques such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), intelligent agents, and architectures based on large language models (LLMs), with an emphasis on innovation and the digital transformation of products and services.
