Mariana Sacrini Ayres Ferraz

She holds a bachelor's degree in Physics from the State University of Campinas (2005), a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in Biomedical Engineering from the State University of Campinas (2009), PhD in Physics from the University of São Paulo (2015) and post- doctoral degree from the Federal University of ABC (2016). She works mainly in the field of biological physics and cell mechanics. She has experience in experimental techniques such as cell culture, optical magnetic twisting cytometry (OMTC), particle tracking and traction force microscopy (TFM). She is also currently developing research in the field of computational neuroscience, with interests in criticality, networks, epilepsy and data analysis (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
