Luciana Pereira Machado

Graduate in Veterinary Medicine, Universidade Federal do Mato Grosso do Sul (2001), Residency in Veterinary Clinical Laboratory (2002-2003), Master's degree (2006) and Doctor (2009) in Veterinary Medicine, Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho, Campus of Botucatu, in the area of Animal Clinical Pathology. Worked as assistant professor at the Universidade Federal do Piauí, in the area of Veterinary Clinical Pathology (2008-2015). Currently Professor at the Universidade Federal da Fronteira Sul, Campus Realeza since May / 15. Worked as collaborator (2012-2014) and permanent member (2015-2017) of the Graduate Program in Animal Science (concept 4 by CAPES),Universidade Federal do Piauí - Teresina. Currently a permanent member of the Program of Postgraduate Program in Health, Welfare and Production Sustainable Animal at the Southern Border - PPG-SBPAS, since 2017 (concept 3 by CAPES). Has experience in the area of Veterinary Clinical Pathology, working mainly in the following subjects: Hematology and Biochemistry in Equine Exercise, Erythrocyte and Leukocyte Oxidative Metabolism, Iron Metabolism, Antioxidants, Blood Indicators of Animal Welfare, Hematology and Clinical Biochemistry in Production Animals.
