BSc from the Federal University of São Paulo - UNIFESP (2004). PhD in Immunology and Parasitology at the Federal University of São Paulo (2009). Post-doctoral studies at the Insitut Curie, Paris (2010-2014). Since 2014 I work as assistant professor in the Department of Immunology, Institute for Biomedical Sciences at the University of São Paulo (ICB/USP). I have worked in vaccinology, especially vaccines against parasitic diseases (Chagas' disease) and stimulation of the CD8 T cell response. Currently, my interest lies in cell biology of immune system cells, especially in proteins associated to the cytoskeleton and their roles in both pathogenic and physiological conditions. I also work with experimental infection with the HIV virus of primary human cells and cell lineages (macrophages, dendritic cells and CD4+ T lymphocytes). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
