Received the B. Tech. degree in Materials, Processes, and Electronic Components at the Faculdade de Tecnologia de São Paulo in 2005. He obtained the degrees of Master and Doctor of Science in the field of Nuclear Technology (Materials) at the Universidade de São Paulo in 2007 and 2012, respectively. From 2003 to 2012, he worked at the Brazilian Navy Technology Center in São Paulo, where he collaborated to the development of power microwave vacuum electron devices, in particular, traveling-wave tubes and klystrons. His major contributions in the period were: design, construction, and characterization of a hydrogen oven for the production of electron emitting material; design, construction, and operation of an apparatus for measuring electromagnetic characteristics of slow-wave structures; design, construction, and operation of a platform for testing and characterization of traveling-wave tubes and for linearization tests by signal injection; development of a 1-D computer code for simulating the electromagnetic behavior of traveling-wave tubes and klystron devices; design and characterization of passive microwave components such as microwave windows and power dividers. His main interest is to work with scientific research, technological innovation, and product development in areas related to his training. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
