Wander Gustavo Botero

Graduated in Chemistry from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP) - Institute of Chemistry of Araraquara (2005). Master in Chemistry (Analytical Chemistry) from UNESP - Institute of Chemistry of Araraquara (Jan/2008). PhD in Chemistry (2010) from UNESP - Institute of Chemistry of Araraquara and Post-Doctorate at the University of Algarve/Portugal (2013-2014). Since 2009 he has been a Professor at the Federal University of Alagoas - (2009-2020 at Campus Arapiraca) and from 2021 at the Institute of Chemistry and Biotechnology - Campus AC Simões in the area of #8203;#8203;Analytical and Environmental Chemistry, teaching subjects in General Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry and Instrumental Analytical Chemistry. He is accredited in the Postgraduate Program in Chemistry and Biotechnology at UFAL (PPGQB) and Postgraduate Program in Agriculture and Environment (PPGAA), Representative of the Research Advisory Committee of PROPEP/UFAL (2015-2017) and Coordinator of the Initiation Program for Teaching (PIBID) Chemistry-UFAL. He served as coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Agriculture and Environment (2017-2018) and Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Chemistry and Biotechnology (2021-2023 - PPGQB-UFAL). He has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Chemistry, with an emphasis on Trace Analysis and Environmental Chemistry, working mainly on the following topics: humic substance, soils, structural characterization, sludge from water treatment plants, recycling of organic matter, endocrine disruptors and dynamic speciation of metals.
