He has experience in teaching and research activities in the areas of Biological Sciences such as: (1) Botany, with an emphasis on Taxonomy and Systematics of Phanerogams and Phylogeny, working mainly with biodiversity in Ericales and Leguminosae (genera Senna Cassia) and dynamics in herbaria; (2) Zoology, with an emphasis on diversity and conservation in Herpetology, animal behavior and practices in zoological collections; (3) Biological collections in botany and zoology, maintenance and curatorship. He has experience in teaching and research activities in the area of agricultural sciences such as: phytopathology, plant health, landscape design, parks and gardens, ecological restoration and forest restoration.
