Maria Angelica Ehara Watanabe

Bachelor's degree in Biomedicine from the State University of Londrina, Master's Degree in Biological Sciences-Biochemistry (CNPq Scholarship) at the University of São Paulo (1992) and PhD in Biological Sciences-Biochemistry at the University of São Paulo (1996) and postdoctoral in Immunology and Molecular Biology by Hemocentro de Ribeirâo Preto (FAPESP Fellow). Member of the Commission for the implementation of the Biomedicine Course at UEL and coordinator of the Course (2004-2007). Coordinator of the Graduate Program (Master's and Doctorate) in Experimental Pathology, Medicine II area (triennium 2007-2009). Coordinator of the Editorial Committee of the Periodical - Semina Biológicas & Saúde (ISI) of the State University of Londrina (2007-2009). Member of the PROIC-CNPq Scientific Initiation Committee of the State University of Londrina (2010-2015) and (2019-2021). Reviewer of articles in international journals such as Human Immunology, European Journal of Clinical Investigation, Leukemia Research, Journal of Medical Virology, Journal of Clinical Immunology, Current Cancer Drug Targets, DNA and Cell Biology, Hematology Reviews, British Journal of Cancer, Breast Cancer Research and Treatment, International Journal of Immunogenetics, Annual Reviews of Biomedical Sciences, Journal of Carcinogenesis & Mutagenesis, Journal of Oral Pathology and Medicine, Cancer Letters. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Pathological Sciences and member of the Advisory Committee in the Health Sciences area of the Araucária Foundation of Paraná and Adviser to the State Secretariat for Science, Technology and Higher Education in the State of Paraná (SETI). Member of the team of the Laboratory of DNA Polymorphism Studies and Applications, analyzing human genetic profiles through analyzes of short tandem repeats (STR) and genetic polymorphisms associated with human diseases, mainly cancer with emphasis on Molecular Immunopathology.
