Maximiliano Sergio Cenci

Graduated and Master in Dentistry from the Federal University of Pelotas, Doctor in Dentistry (Cariology) from the Faculty of Dentistry of Piracicaba - State University of Campinas (2004-2008), with a sandwich period at the Academiuc Centrum for Dentistry Amsterdam - The Netherlands (2006-2007 ). Associate Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry, Federal University of Pelotas, working at the Graduate Program in Dentistry (Conceito 6 CAPES). Visiting Professor at Radboud University Medical Centre, Nijmengen, The Netherlands. Coordinator of International Relations at UFPel (2017-2020). Leader of the Global Observatory for Dental Care research group and active in national and international research networks. He has experience in the areas of Clinical Dentistry, International Education, Knowledge Synthesis and Meta-Research. It works mainly on the following topics: dental caries, biofilms, longevity of restorative materials, clinical trials, guidelines for clinical practice and translation of knowledge.
