University professor, researcher, and biologist. Bachelor of Biological Sciences (2002), Master's in Biosciences and Biotechnology from the Universidade Estadual do Norte Fluminense Darcy Ribeiro (2004). Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the Institute of Chemistry at the University of São Paulo (2008). Postdoctoral research in the Department of Parasitology at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, University of São Paulo (2009-2014), with a 10-month period at the Department of Veterinary Microbiology and Pathology at Washington State University, USA (2012). Served as a substitute professor of Biochemistry at the Federal University of Mato Grosso in Cuiabá in 2014, teaching courses in Biology, Animal Science, Agronomy, Forestry Engineering, and Chemistry. Taught in the Biology (both bachelor's and teaching degrees), Nursing, Dentistry, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, and Medicine programs at the Universidade Estadual do Oeste do Paraná from 2015 to 2021. Worked as a substitute professor at the Federal Institute of Paraná, Foz do Iguaçu campus, between 2022 and 2023. Currently, she is a collaborating professor at the Center for Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Universidade Estadual do Oeste do Paraná and a Class III-C professor at the Centro Universitário de Cascavel - UNIVEL. She has experience in Biochemistry, with an emphasis on Insect Biochemistry, and in Parasitology, with an emphasis on pathogen-vector interactions. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
