Aline Gomes Tavares

From October 2012, I'm Analyst specialized in Biotechnology in the Brazilian Bioethanol Science and Technology Laboratory (CTBE) - Campinas. I'm graduated in Biological Sciences - bachelor´s degree in molecular biology, at the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas (2002-2005). During my undergraduation I improved my background knowledge in microbiology at the ?Instituto Biológico (IB)? and had the first contact with genetic tools at the ?Centro de Biologia Molecular e Engenharia Genética (CBMEG)? in the University of Campinas (UNICAMP). After obtain my B.S., I moved for the Agronomic Institute of Campinas (IAC), where I largely increased my skills in molecular biology and genetic technologies. Then, in 2010, I obtained my M.Sc. degree in Biological Sciences (with emphasis in Genetics and molecular biology) in the São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" - UNESP. Currently, I?m working in the Biofuel Technology field, with the main focus in the development of bacterial fermentation-based processes for the biobutanol sustainable production.
