Rosana Rita Folz

Graduated at Department of Architecture and Urbanism from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (1985), was guest student of Industrial Design Course of the Universität-Gesamthochschule Essen, Germany (1987-88), Master of Built Environment Technology, Department of Architecture and Urbanism from Escola de Engenharia de São Carlos - USP (2002) and PhD in Architecture and Technology at the same institution (2008). Taught in the Course of Industrial Design - UNIFRAN - Universidade de Franca - SP (2001-2003), in the Master Course - Interior Architecture -UNIARA - Centro Universitário de Araraquara - SP (2004) and in the Course of Product Design of FAAL - Faculdade de Administração e Artes de Limeira - SP (2007-2008). Concluded postdoctoral research (2009-2012) at the Research Group on Sustainability and Housing - HABIS, Institut of Architecture and Urban Planning, University of São Paulo - USP. She was the coordenator of the Architecture and Urbanism Course, at Centro Universitário Central Paulista - UNICEP, São Carlos - SP. Nowadays, she is professor in the same course and the pedagocical coordinator at PARK Idiomas. She has experience in Housing and Design, focusing on Product Design, working on the following subjects: design and architecture theory, product design, furniture design, social housing and sustainability in architecture, design, social technology and methods of teaching foreign languages.
