Ivan Korkischko

PhD in Mechanical Engineering (Energy and Fluids), POLI, University of São Paulo - USP (2011). First degree in Mechanical Engineering, POLI, University of São Paulo - USP (2006). My current position is postdoc researcher at the Research Centre for Gas Innovation (RCGI-EPUSP). Developed research in experimental fluid dynamics between 2004-12 in the Fluid and Dynamics Research Group (NDF) at EPUSP, focusing on hydrodynamic stability, flow around bluff bodies and fluid-structure interaction. Between 2012 and 2015 developed experimental research in the Institute of Aerodynamics and Flow Technology (AS-EV, Göttingen/Germany) of the German Aerospace Center (DLR). The research project investigated different flight formations of Micro Aerial Vehicles (MAVs). Currently develops research in the area of fuel cells, using numerical methods to optimize the flow channels of PEMFC. Extended experience with the following techniques: circulating water channel, wind tunnel, load cells, particle image velocimetry (PIV) and its stereoscopic counterpart (Stereo PIV), data analysis and visualization and numerical methods applied to fluid dynamics, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
