Bachelor in Physics with specialisation in Astronomy Universidade de São Paulo (2007), Master in Physics from the Universidade de São Paulo (2010) and PhD in Astrophysics from Universidade de São Paulo (thesis title: "Dynamic properties of dark matter "), having developed part of the doctoral project at the Institute d'Astrophysique de Paris (IAP). He worked as a postdoc at IAG-USP, with one-year period at the University of Michigan. Later, he was a postdoc Research Associate at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) - UK, a Research Fellow at the University of Michigan and Research Associate at the University of Arizona/Steward Observatory. He is currently Associate Researcher at the National Observatory in Brazil (with a CNPq-C productivity fellowship) and co-chair of the Milky Way survey working group of the DESI collaboration.
