Gustavo Manzon Nunes

Graduated in Forest Engineering from the Federal University of Santa Maria (2001), Master's degree in Geomatics from the Federal University of Santa Maria (2004) and PhD in Geosciences at the State University of Campinas - Unicamp (2008). He served as Management Analyst in the area of Natural Resources CENSIPAM - Technical Center and Operational Porto Velho / RO (2006 to 2008). He is currently Adjunct Professor (DE) - Level III at the Faculty of Forestry of the Federal University of Mato Grosso (Cuiabá) and Postgraduate in Forestry and Environmental Sciences (PPGCFA-UFMT), acting in the Remote Sensing Area, GIS and Forest Management. Researcher and Coordinator in Remote Sensing Geotechnology Laboratory (LabSensoR) associated with the INCT-Wetlands (INAU) / CNPq-UFMT in research related to mapping and analysis of Wetlands. He has experience in Geotechnology area, with an emphasis on remote sensing, acting on the following topics: Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), spectral behavior of vegetation, digital classification using hyperspectral techniques, digital image processing, digital processing RADAR data, GIS, geographic information systems, environmental analysis and land use.
