PhD student in the Postgraduate Program in Environmental Science of the Institute of Energy and Environment of the University of São Paulo (PROCAM / IEE / USP). Master of Science from the University of São Paulo (PROCAM / IEE / USP) (2015) and a degree in Environmental Engineering from the State University of Pará (2010). I worked at the Institute of Man and the Environment of the Amazon (IMAZON), with activities related to the market of non-timber forest products and monitoring of forest cover in municipalities in the states of Pará and Amazonas. Participated in a project to evaluate the effects of the commercialization of forest resources among companies and traditional communities of the Brazilian and Bolivian Amazon. I am a member of the Research Group on Environmental Planning and Management (PLANGEA-USP). Currently, I investigate the socioecological consequences of the transition of the garimpo activity in the upper Tapajós region (southwest of Pará). I have experience in the areas of forest resources and environmental consulting. I have been working with the following themes: small-scale and artisanal mining, livelihoods, non-timber forest products, traditional communities, Amazon, effects of exposure to the market on natural resources, environmental licensing, environmental planning and management.
