Graduated (BA and BS) in Biological Sciences from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Julio de Mesquita Filho, year of completion: 2003, Master in Biological Sciences (Zoology) from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Julio de Mesquita Filho, with title in 2006 and the year 2010 earned a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences (Zoology) from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Julio de Mesquita Filho, Campus of Rio Claro. Developed a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Biology, UNESP, Rio Claro, with a grant from FAPESP (Foundation for Research Support of the São Paulo State), and the project was partially developed at North Carolina State University (NCSU). She has experience in Entomology (social insects), Animal Behavior, Applied Zoology, Morphology and Molecular Biology of Insects, with an emphasis on Termitology. Acting on the bioecology and control of subterranean termites, especially studying the dynamics of foraging and feeding behavior of the urban species Coptotermes gestroi and Heterotermes tenuis (Isoptera: Rhinotermitidae), as well as on the study about the reproductive biology (morphological and genetic studies) of Velocitermes heteropterus, a species typically found in the Brazilian Cerrados. She finished in 2019 the coordination in DCR modality project which was entitled "Cuticular chemical composition of termite species Cornitermes cumulans and Velocitermes heteropterus (Isoptera: Termitidae): intra- and interspecific comparisons", funded by CNPq in partnership with FUNDECT and developed at the Universidade Estadual de Mato Grosso do Sul (UEMS). Since 2015, she was a substitute professor of several disciplines for students of Biological Sciences and Nursing Course (BA and Degree) and is also a teacher collaborating in the Postgraduate Program in Natural Resources (PGRN - UEMS Dourados). She is currently a biologist at SANESUL (GEQAE), in Campo Grande/MS - Brazil. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
