Has a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade de Brasília (1986), Master's in Aerospace Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (1988) and Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Institute Of Technology (1993). Was a post-doctoral fellow in the Institute of Aerodynamics and Flow Technology of the DLR in Germany (1994-1995).Currently is a professor of the Applied Math Department of the Universidade de São Paulo and Engineering supervisor of CFD & Simulation of EMBRAER. His professional experience includes Computational Fluid Dynamics, Dynamical Systems Simulation, Numerical Analysis and Optimization.
